A Practice For Slowing Down and Grounding
In-Studio, Thursdays, Jan 5, 12, 19 & Feb 2, 6:30-8:30pm
with Jo Ann Laliberte
Yin yoga invites us to slow down, and mindfully notice the present moment. Postures are held for approximately 1-5 minutes, supporting a deep opening within the connective tissue of the body.
Students can expect a relaxing and meditative experience, as we invite each posture to be a short meditation of its own.
Take time for yourself and set your intention for this new year – Experience physical, emotional, and spiritual healing through the powerful combination of yin yoga & sound immersion using singing bowls and other vibrational sounds.
Jo Ann Laliberte teaches from the heart and enjoys sharing the calming and healing effects of yoga with students of all levels. She holds space for students to be curious about their practice, to explore being present and mindful and to understand that yoga goes beyond the physical. It helps to heal, balance and grow our lives in every moment.
Jo Ann delights in sharing her passion for yoga and feels that when practiced from the heart – yoga is as simple as “breathe…smile…feel the joy”. When not on her mat, Jo Ann enjoys walks in nature with her pup Belle, gardening, kayaking, pickleball and cooking!
