
The spring fed pond at the Ashram is a holy place. The water is super-pure, clean and cold. Our goal is to create a sacred sarovar, a sanctuary for ishnaan, meditation, and renewal, a place where sangat, students, and other visitors can go to renew by being in nature.

STAGE ONE
Design, permits & grant writing/ fundraiser (Spring, Summer and Fall 2021)
The Pond Restoration Project has a projected cost of $275k
STAGE TWO
Existing concrete and invasive plant removal, and bank stabilization (Fall ’22)
Watersheds are critical for supporting clean water and local wildlife. By restoring the watershed surrounding the ashram, we are protecting the local environment for future generations. –Gwir Llewellyn
