Originated by Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux…a Gong Puja is a Sacred Ceremony of deep Restoration, Relaxation, and Rejuvenation. It takes place overnight as an array of gongs are meditatively played for 7.5 hours! This length of time is the equivalent of Ten 45-minute gong baths and is believed to bring about incredible transformation and healing. A Gong Immersion can cleanse, release blocks, relax the muscles and fascia, move lymph, and bring about a deep brain state in which profound healing can occur.
Our teams of ‘Puja Players’ will harmoniously play the gongs throughout the night and into the morning while we meditate~ or we sleep~ a sleep like no other, where we are awake in a dream, bathed in the rejuvenescent vibration of Sacred Sound!
This Gong Puja, coupled with the transformative power of the Equinox, makes for a rare and powerful event not to be missed! Join us for this Sacred “Puja-ma” Party sleepover and experience it for your Self! Come dive into the Waves of Sound!

Puja Players and Guests
Dharam Singh brings a unique and earthy perspective to the Kundalini Yoga community that is inspired by broad exposure to Native American Shamanism, Tibetan Buddhism and Reichian Body-centered Therapy. His passion for the transformative power of sound and music has found a place in the use of the Gong as a tool for deep healing. Dharam is a long time student of Yogi Bhajan and a resident of Guru Ram Das Ashram.
Dharam came up freer than many, on Freeman St – a world where there was no escaping rhythm – where the drumming and chants of Africa via Caribbean and Latin immigrants echoed through the urban canyons of the South Bronx – the birthplace of both Hip Hop and Salsa (Cuban music with a NY attitude.

At the age of 20 in Fairbanks, Alaska he first experienced the aligning (sometimes confrontative) and healing power of Kundalini Yoga. Later that year he would also meet, study and live with Rolling Thunder (old school Shoshone Shaman) in the Nevada desert, and also have an audience with the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. During that meeting he was given the name Karma Yeshe Chodhar (“scholar of the stars” – Truth, Wisdom Spreading). A curiosity about the possibilities of a ‘spiritual’ life was borne. Through deep practice, Bioenergetic-Gestalt emotional release, and other fantastic mind-washings, Dharam would witness extended glimpses of perfect being that would inform everything from that point forward.
His passion for healing, community and Dharma has found a place in the healing art and sacred science of the Gong as a tool for vibrational transformation. Since the 80’s he has taught the technology of Kundalini and Gong Yoga here in the US and in South America. Now, having walked the path of Sikh Dharma with Yogi Bhajan, for 40 years he has come to more fully understand that sound and energy is the essence of the order of everything – and that if he can help a person to find peace and wellness through simply laying down and relaxing into that essence, then who is he to deny them, what he himself considers a refuge.

Guruatma Kaur Khalsa has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 1979 and is certified by IKYTA. She is lovingly dedicated to encouraging each student to release and relax into the True Self. Guruatma teaches throughout the Metro west area and brings great joy, energy and inspiration to her classes.
Gian Joti is a gentle, heart-centered teacher who brings her love of the healing benefits of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation to her classes. She welcomes beginners as well as longtime practitioners, who are seeking a stress-reducing, relaxing, and restorative experience.
The healing power of Naad, the sound current, is offered through the chanting of sacred mantra. Gian Joti invites you to experience the vibration of the gong, crystal singing bowls and chimes. Gian Joti has a deep interest in Ayurveda, and is also a Reiki practitioner.

Dave Curry is the creator of Drums For One And All, which includes facilitating public events, giving workshops, teaching private lessons, giving live performances, and doing drum repairs. Every month, Dave has lead the popular FreeDrum event since 2001, and the SpiritDrum event since 2006. Dave is co-creator and organizer for the Eastern Mass Rhythm Festival, which is entering its 19th season. Dave is the author of two books on hand drumming, and has taught drum classes at the Assabet school since 2009. Dave is the creative director of the Drum Nomads performance ensemble. For the past 23 years, Dave has lead well over a thousand drumming events at schools, churches, colleges, retreat centers, libraries and other institutions across New England.
