Facilitator Bios:

Jocelyn Johnson, APRN, BS, aka Suchas Kaur is in private practice as an Advanced Practice RN in psychiatry and has been in the nursing field for over 30 years. Her work focus is in individual therapy and psychopharmacology for adults. She has taughtKundalini Yoga since 2010 and has 12 Step history as an Adult Child.   She works as a co-writer and medical consultant for the SuperHealth® Yogic Technology to break habits and addictive behavior.  She is Board Certified in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.

 

Hari Kirin Khalsa, MD, C-IAYT, started in health care as a nurse’s aide in 1976, becoming a registered nurse in 1982 and a physician in 1993.  She found Kundalini yoga for her own stress reduction as a busy obstetrician/gynecologist.  From there she became a Kundalini yoga teacher, Level 2 KRI certified, going on to study Kundalini Yoga Therapy while also coming on board as faculty with the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine & Humanology.  She served as vice chair of Caring Communities in her Unitarian Universalist church. She directed the Baba Siri Chand yoga center from 2014-19. She serves as volunteer faculty for the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
