Kundalini yoga and Naad yoga (the yoga of sound), are powerful tools that help us to cope with the many challenges of these times.  The frequency created by chanting specific mantras has the power to change our state and lift us into an elevated experience. We all know what it is like to lose something, whether it be something simple like an object, or perhaps a gift or internal wisdom that has been left dormant and forgotten about.  Join Kundalini yoga teacher and sacred chant artist Andi Flax with her bandmate Tripp Dudley for a deep and powerful experience of the sound current of ‘mantra for lost things’ which Yogi Bhajan gave to us in the later years of his teachings. We will warm up with a short kriya and discussion of the mantra followed by an extended chanting meditation to call back all which has been ‘lost’.

Andi Flax: Born in the US, raised in Canada and based in Newport, Rhode Island, US, Andi Flax is a singer and songwriter drawn to the healing and expressive power of the human voice. At a young age she understood that the physical body was a great creative instrument, and began studying its processes through the mediums of classical music and dance, using her body and voice as the vehicle through which she could birth her joy into the world as the authentic expression of her soul.  In 2001 she moved to NYC to pursue musical theatre professionally where she studied at ‘The American Academy of Dramatic Arts’ and ‘William Esper Studios.’  Feeling burned out and unfulfilled from the business of show business, she left everything behind to travel the world for four years in search of “Herself”.  Although she had many adventures, she returned home with the feeling that she had not yet found what she was looking for.  Then a friend introduced her to Kundalini yoga; when she sang “Long Time Sun” for the first time, she heard the “true” voice of her soul, and knew that she was home.  Andi is committed to the idea of life as a piece of art, and lives in service to humanity through the expression of her music and feels both honored and privileged to be able to pass on these beautiful and sacred teachings of Kundalini yoga and Naad Yoga (the yoga of sound/mantra) She currently resides in Newport Rhode Island, and is a kundalini yoga teacher, birth and postpartum doula, and a second degree reiki practitioner.

Tripp Dudley: Tripp Dudley is a drummer, tabla player and percussionist based out of Brooklyn, NY.  His deep groove and virtuosity across multiple instruments have paved the way for his many journeys around the world with many different musicians.
