CONSCIOUS BREATHING FOR YOUR SOUL
Take a moment from your busy life to focus deeply on yourself and your breath
An In-Studio and Online Monthly Workshop
Join this workshop to explore many different breath patterns and experience different aspects of conscious breathing. Use these in your daily life to connect with your soul and your life force.
Why Breathe consciously? According to Dr. Andrew Weil: “Breathing is the bridge between mind and body, the connection between consciousness and unconsciousness, the movement of spirit in matter. Breath is the key to health and wellness, a function we can learn to regulate and develop in order to improve our physical, mental and spiritual well-being”.
Consciously changing the way you breathe sends a signal to the brain to adjust the parasympathetic branch of the nervous system; therefore every conscious breath you take slows the heart rate and promotes feelings of calm.
Conscious breathing done on a regular basis is the oldest and best-known technique to reduce stress and therefore improve blood pressure. Breath is your life. As you breathe so goes your life. When you breathe with awareness, purpose, and consciously; you may also develop these qualities.
