Our training program meets about one weekend a month and graduates on December 5, 2021.
KRI The Aquarian Teacher – Level One Certification Program in Kundalini Yoga
This program is open to yoga students ready to become teachers and those who wish to immerse themselves in the science of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®. Each of us has a unique purpose and place on this planet, so no matter your intention, those who aspire to enroll in our teacher training programs will take their practice to the next level.
Our graduates have a track record of beaming back into the world feeling more knowledgeable, confident and ready to face life’s challenges and to hold the space for those who they encounter whether in or outside of the classroom.
Guided by experienced teachers, this program takes you on an educational journey of the body including: Yogic and Western Anatomy, movements, postures (asanas), modifications, body alignment, and body awareness.
In Level One you will become an Instructor and learn the fundamental principles and practices of Kundalini Yoga. This is a 220 hour course, which includes 180 hours of classroom instruction in a well-defined curriculum.
You will develop the skills to instruct students in Kundalini Yoga kriyas and meditations. You will practice teaching Kundalini Yoga in a practicum setting and participate in early morning Sadhanas (spiritual practice) as part of the non classroom course requirements.

Meet Our Teachers!
Hari Kaur Khalsa
Hari Kaur is internationally renowned & beloved, directing and teaching classes and Level 1 & 2 trainings, in the US and abroad. She was recently honored by Yoga Journal as one of “10 Influential Teachers Who Have Shaped Yoga in America” Hari was an early pioneer of the teacher training programs of Kundalini Yoga. She helped found Yoga Alliance and is an acclaimed author. As the lead trainer in Millis, Hari brings unsurpassed zest, commitment, and energy to the training. Sopurkh Singh Khalsa
Sopurkh Singh Khalsa has been studying yoga & meditation since 1997 and has been teaching for over 17 years as a KRI Certified Teacher. He has taught in retreats, workshops and classes around the world.
Harbhajan Kaur Khalsa
Harbhajan Kaur Khalsa is a KRI-certified Lead Trainer for Level 1 and 2 Teacher Trainings with an acknowledged specialty in teaching Sound & Mantra / Naad Yoga, and classical Gurbani Kirtan. Her experience, grace & creativity are grounding & inspiring.
Siri Sevak Kaur Khalsa
Siri Sevak Kaur Khalsa is a KRI-certified Professional Trainer. She has a trained eye for helping students with posture and breath. Her own immersion in mantra, music and Sikh Dharma bring additional depth and beauty to the training.
Dharm Singh Khalsa
Dharm Singh is a KRI Certified Professional Trainer who has been teaching Kundalini Yoga & Meditation in the greater Boston area for 20 years. With a background in engineering, he appreciates the science, as well as the art of Kundalini Yoga.
Dr. Sham-Rang Singh Khalsa
Dr. Sham-Rang Singh Khalsa is a KRI-certified Professional Trainer. He brings to the course four decades of daily sadhana, merging the worlds of Kundalini Yoga and Ayurveda with western medicine.
Program Dates & Tuition
This virtual training is structured around weekend courses starting on April 22, 2021 and graduating on December 5th, 2021. Each weekend is unique to a specific topic, please see training dates below. Courses will be held on-line, 8:30am-6:00pm daily. In person sessions may be considered in the future pending the conditions of COVID-19.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND GUIDELINES
- Regular price of the program is $3,750*
- Make full payment before April 22nd to receive the lowest rate of $3,350*

Full time students with ID or Seniors over 65 are eligible for the early bird rate at any time during the registration process.
All applications require a $500 deposit, due at the time of application, and refundable only in the case that the student is not accepted into the program.
An additional $1,000 payment is due on April 22, 2021 (start of the program).
The remaining balance must be paid in monthly installments, with a final bill payment due on October 9, 2021, 60 days prior to graduation weekend.
All students of the program will be granted 20 free online class passes for use at Yoga at the Ashram.

To start the process, enroll with a $500 deposit and fill out the application form using the links below. Completing the application is the first step in your Kundalini Yoga teacher training; you’ll need some time to sit down with it and answer the questions thoughtfully, as it lays the foundation for your training experience. The KRI Level One Aquarian Teacher Training Program is a 220-hour professional certification program in Kundalini Yoga. An interactive course in the theory, practice, and basic skills of a Kundalini Yoga instructor, it includes 180 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours of independent study, including a 40-day meditation. Graduates of Level One earn the title of KRI Certified Instructor of Kundalini Yoga and fulfill the Yoga Alliance RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) 200-hour requirement.
